Supportive Services Coordinator - Providence Hall Apartments

Position Reports To: 
Property Manager
Full-Time (Benefits Available)
Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein: Conduct resident assessment at the move-in and on a yearly basis to identify community needs and interests; Develop, coordinate and implement programs and services to address identified areas of need and interest; Through reference from management staff, conduct one-to-one assessments, determine intervention measures; providing appropriate referrals to social service and/or human resource agencies; Implement procedures to resolve disputes between residents, including problem solving conflict mediation and; Design, develop and distribute a newsletter on a monthly basis; Develop, implement and monitor positive resident relations programs; Monitor all programs that are conducted on-site by outside agencies and ensure compliance with service agreements; Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving & communicating in a manner so that you can get along with residents, business contacts, coworkers & supervisors; Responsible for reporting any unusual, extraordinary circumstances regarding the residents or the property; and Responsible for seeking educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and development. Additional duties or job functions may be required as deemed necessary by Arbor Management, LLC and its affiliates
B.A. in Social Work preferred or equivalent experience performing case management services in a social service role servicing at-risk families and the elderly also needed; Individuals must have a solid knowledge of interpersonal relations. It is also necessary to possess a minimum of 2 years problem solving skills along with the ability to express oneself both written and orally. A strong willingness to keep apprised of the ever-changing providers of social services of all problems to individuals and families and the elderly. Writing, organizing experience, PC experience, multi-language ability, good verbal skills and multi-tasking capability. This knowledge can be obtained through academic achievement as well as Specialized training by way of seminar/workshops. Working in a social service agency in the community providing case management services. Education life, age and experience. NON-SMOKING ENVIRONMENT
